Psalm 37:4-7
4 Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
I just was reading my Bible today when I came across this verse. I like it because it reminds me that God is in control and that if I put my trust in Him and commit to His will, everything will work out. These are powerful words... It's worth the wait, friends, it is. 'It' being God's plan for you. And, what you think 'it' is very well may not be 'it'. Ever think of that?
I just felt like posting =) there is a lot that I love in life. I feel like I could do a dozen different things with my life and future and I'd be perfectly happy with any of them. It's a cool feeling to have. But truth is, only one thing is the right thing. And that's what God has planned.
Just thinking about this because my future has been on my mind recently. I have so much I want to do, so much I could do, so many opportunities, so many decisions.....I am so glad it's not my life and that it's God's =)

AHHH! Every, single, word. EXACTLY how I've been feeling and thinking about the last few days. Thank you for posting this. God has a plan for us, and there may be things that we don't understand but the thing is, we're not supposed to understand everything. We need to seek him out and keep our faith in him. :D
comforting verse.
I can definitely relate to this...
wonderful verse (they all are, but you know what I mean)! I used to think about the future often, well I still do but not in the same way. I try to think about what God wants for me. I leave it up to Him!
I found He likes to show us a few steps at a time, and not the whole plan. Which is probably best...well it is best, because if it wasn't He wouldn't do it that way =P
those are all some of my favorite verses!!
thanks so much for posting those!
Burning desire, that's awesome! =D
Yeah, very true, Ben. It is the best for us...even if we sometimes don't think so :)
I'm glad it encouraged you, Morgan and Matt!
