Being a world changer.

So. I want to be a world changer. Yes, I want to impact the world. I want to touch lives and make Christ known all over the world. I want to make a difference. And yes, wherever God sends me, I am willing to go. That could be just in my own town or that could be into the middle of a poverty stricken town in a country far away. For some reason, I really want to go to the latter. I want to go comfort those little children with no hope and hold them in my arms. I want to fill their empty stomachs. I want to nourish their little hearts with God's Word. But that is what I want....I'll have to wait and see what God wants. I could also be a world changer here in NC. Whatever He wants. But, I just want to do something.

God of Justice, Saviour to all
Came to rescue the weak and the poor
Chose to serve and not be served

Jesus, You have called me
Freely I've received
Now freely I will give

I must go live to feed the hungry
Stand beside the broken
I must go
Stepping forward keep me from just singing
Move me into action
I must go

To act justly everyday
Loving mercy in every way
Walking humbly before You God

You have shown me, what You require
Freely I've received
Now freely I will give

Fill me up and send me out
Fill me up and send me out
Fill me up and send me out Lord

I know how you feel - but just wanted to remind you to be careful about something that God reminded me of while I was in Mexico.

I can't do anything. I can't change the world. I have nothing to offer. You can't do anything; you can't change the world; you have nothing to offer. Only God can. He can (and will!) use you as an instrument - but not by your power. Not by your strength. By God's.

I know you knew this, but it's helpful to be reminded every now and then. :-) Love ya.

Yes, that is very true. Thanks :)

Yes that is true, but on the other hand, you are using your power to decide if you want to follow God. Yes, what you are doing is through God's power. But I believe that God wants you to do things and commands you to, I know that people do not always follow God's commands. So yes what you are doing is through God, but saying yes and living for him, is all you.

Congrats on accepting the challenges that lie ahead of you. I'm interested in reading you stuff and the different viewpoints of other Christians.
