Systematic Theology

I was up late because I couldn't put down the book 'Systematic Theology'. Ohmi, like seriously, it's incredibly interesting. I love, love, love theology stuff. I could have easily stayed up all night reading it, but my better judgment told me not to. haha, but now I'm tired and I gotta do school.

But yes, as crazy as it sounds I believe this is one of my favorite books that exist. =D

That doesn't sound crazy at all, actually. I've read the whole condensed version "Bible Doctrine." It really is very interesting. I'm so thankful that we have people like Wayne Gruden who will take so much time to write huge books. =)

I love that book also. ^_^ I'll be "crazy" with you then.

haha, I wish I could read books like that and actually stay interested. Somehow it's not the material of books that usually gets me interested, but how they're written. Like 'page turners' I can get through but unfortunately other than that I don't read much of anything...not all the way through anyway. It's just too boring for me.

I'm still going to try to read that book though, lol

I want to know what's so interesting about it.

haha, you crazy awesome people =P

Different things interest different people, Matt. There's nothing wrong with you not being as interested in it. But, I must say, if you're going to force yourself to read through a 1,300 page book that is boring to you, you have quite a bit of determination. haha

But, as far as why it's interesting...I guess because theology in general interests me. I just find it so interesting to really dig deeply into the Bible and research it. I love learning from people who are so wise...like Wayne Gruden. I think that's also the side of me that loves debate, apologetics, etc :)

What is your favourite portion of theology to study? Revelation era? Free will vs predestination?

Oh, I'm not sure. that's very hard to pick. Free Will vs. Predestination is a really fun one. Revelation is so, so interesting to me, but I'm still kind of new to that. I also find biblical masculinity/femininity quite interesting to study, however that isn't quite theology...I guess ;) But I don't know, basically anything in the Bible is interesting to me....especially if it's a debatable topic ^_^ How about you?

haha I know there's nothing wrong with that.
I'd still like to read a bit of it though.
And yes I can be very determined sometimes :)
