join the club emily. i've wanted one for a looong time but mom and dad wont let me get one cause they say i would be on there all the time and they think thats a waste of time so there you go...

Yeah, I can guarantee you I would waste so much time if I had one, so I haven't even asked for one.

But you (and everyone else) should get Skype. *advocates* Seriously. ;-)

Ahh Yes Emily i'll throw my two cents into the hat (hey that mixed metaphor turned out pretty great! lol) and say yeah you need to get a facebook!! Actually once the novelty wears off you won't spend as much time as you would think. Ah i've been wanting to get Skype, but my folks won't let me get it for the same reason yall can't get Facebook =P lol

Yes, I agree with Nathan. I usually only spend 20-30 minutes max a day on facebook, even though I do lots of stuff. Once you get caught up with everyone initially, there's not a lot to do. =P

it's not all that great emily. maybe every once in a while it's useful, but overall you're probably better off without it. don't feel bad ;)

I haven't even asked my parents...yet, lol!

but thanks adam, rofl! Anyhow, we'll see...maybe I'll get it.

Maybe I'll get skype too...

yeah it's not really like the greatest thing in the world or anything. I mean, you could just call someone up and say 'hey what's up' and tlak for a minute and it'd be the same thing pretty much.

so, you all-what's so great about Facebook? I've heard a lot about it but never heard the draw (what you can do on it etc.)

Matt said...

you can 'poke' people and send 'gifts' to them, along with commenting them (which is called writing on their walls) and you can update you status (it'll say, for instance: 'cara is wondering what facebook's all about' but you can change it whenever you want) and of course you can upload pictures and add friends, along with countless other little features.
